World AIDS Day

is December 1

Every year, our Red Scarf campaign brings our community together to end the stigma and raise awareness around HIV. In light of COVID-19, Red Scarf will look a little different this year. We can’t get together for our usual events. But we still have work to do! With your support, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our clients living with, at-risk for and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Just like the Red Ribbon, every Red Scarf is a symbol of HIV/AIDS awareness and support for people living with HIV.

This year, we are delivering Red Scarves to vulnerable community members to provide comfort and warmth to people who are at increased systemic risk for HIV. This includes people who use substances, people experiencing homelessness and women at-risk of violence.

You can Sponsor a Red Scarf by making a donation. When you sponsor a Red Scarf, we share a scarf with someone in need and your donation supports free client programs and services at Regional HIV/AIDS Connection.
